Can you believe nearly half of all small businesses don't have websites?!?! The number sounds incredible, even though we all know it to be true.
Just last week I wanted to look up the hours of a small taco stand to make sure we didn't get there and they were closed. Nope, no website. Just a few Yelp reviews.
And that happens quite often, yet I'm always surprised. It's hard to imagine businesses (and people for that matter) with such insignificant internet coverage (seriously, how does that person you just met not show up in Google search, right?)
Creating and managing a website can make some feel uneasy. Too expensive. Too complicated. Too much work. And some feel they're doing just fine without one. And some are. But for the overwhelming majority of the 46% that don't have a website, a small investment could pay huge dividends. And, there are companies (like us) that will help build and manage your site for a lot less that you'd imagine.
Rapid Web Launch created this great infographic outlining the excuses small businesses make about why they don't have a website, and offers rebuttals to each.
